 We all know that being an Early Childhood Director is rewarding and, at the same time, full of challenging decisions.  Kara will help us open our vision to see how our decisions today impact our schools and its children for years, even into future generations.  Kara Gore will help each of us clarify what we want our legacy in this field to be, and how we can accomplish that goal.  We will look at the impact of both short- and long-term decisions, and how these can alter much of the future in ways we don’t always consider or contemplate.

 Each decision, big or small, that we make creates a new facet of our legacy!

 Congratulations!  Terrace United Methodist Church received the Five Stars of Excellence in Christian Education for 2009 – 2010.  This award represents Terrace United Methodist Church’s commitment to Christian Education and to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The goals of the program are:

• to assist the local congregations to make and grow disciples of Christ;
• to encourage, promote, strengthen, and facilitate the growth of Christian Education programs, especially the Sunday Schools of our churches;
• and to connect Christian Education to the overall ministry of the local church and the connectional church.

And to recognize churches who accomplish and exceed these goals.

The First Sunday of each month Terrace members are asked to remember the needy in our community.  Please bring your donations for the food pantry and leave them in the baskets in the gathering area.  If you wish to make a monetary contribution write “Food Pantry” in the memo area of your check.
