You took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother’s milk!
There’s nothing like the written Word of God
for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
—2 Timothy 3:15
J.O.Y. Zone—offered to children who are three years old through fifth grade—is a place where friendships are developed, Bible stories are learned and where kids connect God to their lives. Lessons are presented in a multi-media fashion that includes: music, drama, art, mission projects and age-level team meetings. Kids come away with concrete ways to apply the day’s lesson to their lives
Weekday Ministries

BLS is open Monday-Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is accredited by the Texas State Department of Protective and Regulatory Services.

Additional Programs
Scouting programs for Brownies, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts meet weekly at the church. We have recently renovated a special building for scouting and youth ministries. Cub Scout Pack #552 meets at Terrace. Once a year, Terrace hosts Scout Sunday in February during the 9 a.m. worship service to recognize all of our scouting participants and their adult leaders.
Vacation Bible School allows children 4 years old through the fifth grade to experience Bible-time adventure and the love of Jesus through Bible stories, crafts, music, games, and fun. Volunteers conduct this one week summer program, that takes place Monday – Friday mornings. Thursday evening VBS kids and families come together for a VBS picnic.
